Our students regularly perform within the top 10% of New Zealand Schools in academic achievement and are encouraged to set their goals high while drawing on school support in their quest for self-actualisation. Students are responsible risk-takers, unafraid of failure, with the confidence to move beyond their personal comfort zones. Almost all students go on to complete tertiary study both in New Zealand and internationally.

Nga Tawa is a school that recognises and celebrates success. We aim to grow our poppies as tall as is possible and each year we delight in recognising the achievement of our young women. We aim to help all students excel in their areas of personal interest. In recent years we have developed NZ Representative Athletes, Debaters, Equestriennes, Musicians, Scholars and more. We welcome diverse interests and recognise the enriching effect of high level performance whenever exhibited.
