Boarders regularly express how much they enjoy and appreciate the food provided by Nga Tawa’s Catering Team. Fresh fruit is offered at morning and afternoon breaks Monday to Friday while chilled, filtered water is also available in both the boarding and day school areas.

Catering at Nga Tawa is managed by Catering Manager, Heather Gray whose team of dedicated staff have repeatedly earned a Heartbeat Foundation Gold Award for food service, for many years. Only a handful of schools in New Zealand have achieved this high standard of food service and we are very proud of this ongoing achievement and recognition. We believe healthy living and healthy food best supports our students in their educational and life pursuits.
