Mrs S Fordyce (Diocesan Board Chair) | |
Sue was appointed as the Bishop's Representative to the Diocesan trust Board in 2002. Sue's association started with Nga Tawa started when her daughter Emma commenced her secondary education there in 1998. She has been the Chair of the Diocesan Board since 2003 and is also a Proprietors Representative on the Board of Trustees. As Chair of the Board Sue is involved in all areas of the Board, with a particular focus and interest in the Special Character of the school. Sue is a Solicitor and runs her own business in Palmerston North. |

Mrs M Sargent | |
Melanie has been a member of the Diocesan Board since 2002. Her interest in and involvement with Nga Tawa was initiated when her daughter, Emma commenced as a Year 9 pupil in 2001. Melanie's commitment has continued well after Emma completed Year 13 in 2005. Melanie is a Partner in Palmerston North law firm, Wadham Goodman. Melanie has had particular interest in and involvement with the Finance sub-committee of the Diocesan Board. Melanie believes Nga Tawa offers students the opportunity to develop as independent young women within an outstanding academic cultural and humanitarian environment, unsurpassed in New Zealand. |

Mr P Geurtjens | |
Paul has been a member of both the Board of Trustees and the Diocesan Trust Board since 2001 and has recently resigned from the Board of Trustees after serving two terms. He is currently Chair of the Physical Resources Committee and is also a member of the PFA. He is also a past President of the Equestrian Committee. |

Mrs B Andrews | |
Bev is a member of Nga Tawa's Diocesan Board, the Public Relations Committee and Vice Chair of the Parents and Friends' Association. Bev was a founding contributor of The Calico Line newsletter and supports Nga Tawa whenever she can. Bev has lived and farmed with husband Peter in the Rangitikei her whole life. They have four daughters. Holly, Abby and Phoebe completed five years each at Nga Tawa and Emily is currently in Year 13. |

Mrs L Gordon (Old Girls' Representative) | |
Louisa Gordon has been the Old Girls' Representative to both the Diocesan Board and the Board of Trustees since 2004. She is also on the Nga Tawa Old Girls' Executive. Louisa was a student at Nga Tawa from 1972-76 and has subsequently had her two daughters, Charlotte and Katie as boarders at Nga Tawa. Louisa has a firm interest in Education, having served on committees and boards of trustees since her children were at Kindergarten. She currently works at her local school and drives the school bus. Louisa is married to Ross, a Taihape farmer and they have four children. |

Mr R Dalrymple (Deputy Chair) | |
Roger joined the board in 2007 as a Parent and friends association representative (PFA). He is married to Sharon who is an old girl of Nga Tawa. His two sisters are also old girls, so he has had a long association with the school. Roger's eldest daughter Rebecca, left at the end of 2008, having thoroughly enjoyed her time at the school. Second daughter Emma, began in 2009 and Olivia the youngest is still two years away. Roger is from a farming background and is currently Deputy Chairman of the Diocesan Board. He believes Nga Tawa provides a first class environment for educating young woman, plus the every day skills needed in our modern society. |

Mr R Kane | |
Russel has been the Parents and Friends of Nga Tawa School (PFA) representative on the Diocesan Board since 2006. He is also Vice Chairman of the Parents and Friends. Russell is a District Manager for the Livestock Stock Improvement Corporation, covering the Wanganui / Rangitikei / Northern Manawatu area. Russell's link with the School began in 2002 with daughter Anna in Year 9. Younger daughter, Grace is in Year 12. Russell and his wife Liz reside in the Rangitikei. |

Mr H McConachy | |
Hamilton has been a member of the Board of Trustees since 2001 and the Diocesan Trust Board since 2002. He has recently resigned from the Board of Trustees after serving for five years. Hamilton is married to Gaylene who teaches at Nga Tawa and their daughter, Anna, completed her secondary education as a boarder at the school. Hamilton is a farmer and Rural Real Estate agent for Harcourts.

Helen Campbell has been a member of staff at Nga Tawa since 1998 and has been the Bursar/Board Secretary since the beginning of 2002. Helen lives in Palmerston North, is married to George and is the mother of three. Her youngest daughter completed her five years of secondary education at Nga Tawa at the end of 2008. |

Mrs F Nevill | |
Fenella has been a member of the Board of Trustees since 2007 and has recently been made a member of the Diocesan Board as well. She has been very impressed with the standard of education and the opportunities provided by Nga Tawa to her elder daughter, Lauren-Jane, completed 5 years at Nga Tawa in 2008, while her younger daughter, Sophia, is in Year 11. Fenella, who is pleased to be involved in both Boards, is a Lawyer and runs her own firm. |

Mr P Rabone | |
Paul is married to Bonnie and their daughter Rosie attended Nga Tawa between 2003-2007. Paul is Chair of the combined Boards' Public Relations sub-committee. Paul was also an active member of The Parents and Friends Association and held the position of Chairman in 2007. Paul believes it was a privilege to have Rosie attend Nga Tawa and enjoys being able to put something back into the school. Paul has been employed by Elders Primary Wool in Wanganui since 1983 and has held the position of Manager for the last five years. | ![]() |

Prue is one of the two Old Girl Representatives on the Diocesan Board and has been a member since 2005. She was a student at Nga Tawa from 1970-1974 and her daughter Lucy attended as a boarder from 2001-2005. After leaving Nga Tawa, she qualified as a registered nurse and works part-time as a theatre nurse. Prue and her husband Peter live and farm at Otane, Hawkes Bay and have three children. | ![]() |
