We are proud of our 'Tall Poppies'

We encourage our students to set their goals high and provide support in their quest for self-actualisation. Students are encouraged to be responsible risk takers, unafraid of failure, with the confidence to move beyond their personal comfort zones.

Nga Tawa is a school that recognises and celebrates success. We aim to grow our poppies as tall as is possible. Each year we delight in recognising the achievement of our young women. We aim to help all students excel in their areas of personal interest. In recent years we have developed NZ Representative Athletes, Debaters, Musicians and more. We welcome diverse interests and recognise the enriching effect of high level performance where ever exhibited.
