Kurt has previously been the Head Coach at Feilding Tennis Club for ten years, and is now coaching a number of school teams in Palmerston North. He is a former Premier 1 player in Wellington, and the winner of many tennis competitions, including the 2021 Manawat? Open Champs. Kurt is also executive officer of Tennis Manawatu.
He joined the Nga Tawa coaching team at the end of 2021.
