Coming all the way from Thailand, Sairung has embraced the opportunity to continue her passion for horses while at Nga Tawa. Through the International Equestrian Programme, she has developed her riding skills while learning more about the daily care, responsibility and commitment that comes with having a horse of her own.

For Sairung, the experience has been especially meaningful, turning a childhood love of riding lesson ponies into the opportunity to care for and ride a school horse she can call her own.

“Ever since I have moved here and started my new riding journey with the International Equestrian Programme here at Nga Tawa, I have improved a lot with my responsibilities and riding. From feeding in the afternoon to waking up and getting ready for a show.

I have always loved horses since I was a kid. Having a school horse I can call ‘my horse’ is something big, since I was once just a kid who went to riding lesson ponies every weekend. The coaches and other students have taught me a lot about the responsibilities of taking care of a horse or pony.

I will surely take all these wonderful tips and memories with me when I go back to Thailand.”
