Our scholarships for the 2023 academic year have now closed.

New students in 2024 can apply for the below scholarships:

Nga Tawa Diocesan School Old Girls' Association Year 9 Scholarship

For all scholarship applications please supply:

• A covering letter stating the Scholarship(s) you are applying for

• A completed Scholarships checklist form

• Financial disclosure form if required

• Your daughter’s Nga Tawa Diocesan School application form

Your covering letter should succinctly describe your daughter’s interests, activities and achievements in relation to the scholarship you are seeking. Ministry of Education Boarding Allowance

A boarding allowance can help students in remote areas or facing other barriers, board from home and focus on their studies. Parents or caregivers have to apply for this allowance and funding is paid directly to schools.

The Henry & William Williams Memorial Trust Scholarship

The scholarships are for Maori secondary school students, who are commencing year 9 of their education, who demonstrate leadership qualities/potential, a satisfactory educational background, and who will benefit from financial support to access quality educational pathways.

The scholarship is for $8000 per annum and may be continued for successful applicants for up to 4 years, subject to evidence of satisfactory progress.
Applicants must be of Maori descent and who are members of the Anglican Church.

The application form (click link at the bottom of the page) contains the requirements of the applicant and provides the criteria for a student applying.
