Years 11, 12 and 13 are significant years that mark the beginnings of students' tertiary journey, and at Nga Tawa we ensure our girls exceed expectations. Our students receive tailored support to secure places at their preferred universities and Halls of Residence, as well as access to great scholarship opportunities for their tertiary studies.
Our results speak for themselves. In 2024, 90% of Nga Tawa students gained University Entrance, with 40% achieving Excellence Endorsements at Levels 2 and 3. Our 2024 leavers were awarded $260,750 worth of scholarships, and every one of them gained entry into their first-choice University Hall and acceptance across high-ranking universities in both New Zealand and abroad. NZ Herald recently ranked Nga Tawa 4th in the country for academic achievement.
Invest in your daughter’s future with a Nga Tawa Senior Scholarship – where academic excellence, personal growth, and confidence come together.
A boarding allowance can help students in remote areas or facing other barriers, board from home and focus on their studies. Parents or caregivers have to apply for this allowance and funding is paid directly to schools.
