School Counsellor

25 hours per week during term time – Maternity Leave 

Nga Tawa is a special character boarding and day school for year 9-13 girls in Marton, Rangitikei. We are seeking a highly motivated school counsellor to join our wellbeing team.

Reporting to the Director of Wellbeing, the successful applicant will have a relevant tertiary qualification in counselling, psychology or social work, ideally to a Masters level. They must have a full or provisional membership with a recognised professional body. Previous experience working in a school or youth counselling setting is preferred.

Skills required:

Days and hours of work during the school term are negotiable. Applicants must be a New Zealand citizen or resident or have a valid work visa.

We are seeking an enthusiastic Food & Nutrition teacher to join our team in 2026. The successful applicant will be confident in delivering a curriculum to junior and senior (NCEA) students that equips learners for the future.
